Musical Bathroom

This gentleman clarinet player surrounded himself with music at all times. After painting a favorite piece of music, the musician came in and "played" to walls to ensure the mural's accuracy.

Indiana Farm

A gentleman who grew up on this Indiana farm but moved to Chicago wanted to memorialize his rural roots. Pictures dating as far back at the early 1900's and as recent as the mid 1970's were combined to blend all the fond farm memories of the homeowner.

Jester Bathroom

Am enormous project. A turn of the century building needed a bathroom update. After we retiled, refinished all the wood and created a subtle strie on the walls, the homeowner wanted a touch of whimsy over the new tile in the form of a juggling jester.

Jungle Mural Stairway

In this home, the third floor belonged to the children, all of whom love animals. A jungle themed mural was created with all the kids' favorite animals to draw them upstairs to their play areas. The mural was then completed with a sky including fun tropical birds in the eaves because the children wanted to feel like they were flying over their jungle.

Father Son Holy Spirit

Pilgrim Lutheran Church and School in Chicago originally had this mural painted to honor a deceased student. Time took it's toll on the project, and PAINTED was brought in to repair and restore the entire mural.

What started out as an experiment became a design focus at the PAINTED studio in downtown Chicago. Composition leaf and variegated copper leaf was applied to a long wall over which was applied paint, handmade papers and glass to create a stunning dragon mural.

Café Mural

An Italian flavored rehab of this Chicago condo left homeowners struggling to find a solution for unattractive bi-fold doors that concealed their home work station.

In creating a cafe scene from handmade papers, the Italian feel was continued from the cafe seating breakfast area located nearby had the impression of tile that the homeowners had installed throughout the home.
